There is light age toning to pages
When I grabbed this wonderful old wooden bowl at a recent sale
I almost wonder if it was meant to be 1843 and the numbers were reverse
just some age toning and light foxing mostly around the edges/margins of the paper
as do the swirls of ink-drawn line detailing the lace covering her neck
